You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) by a Bamba Climb representative and driven to your luxury accommodation in Arusha. Nestled into the foothills of Mt. Your Bamba Climb guide will collect you after breakfast and drive you to Tarangire National Park. Named after the Tarangire River, this park is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. It is famous for huge herds of elephant families, around 500 species of birds, and the fascinating Baobab or ‘upside-down’ tree. Enjoy a full day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. After your game drive, you will transit to your luxury accommodation in Karatu. After an early breakfast, you will drive up into the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will descend 2,000 feet into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This area is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in Africa, including the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino. The Crater floor offers sweeping savannah, acacia woodland, and glistening lakes. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the Crater floor before returning to your luxury accommodation in Karatu. After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, the final park on your luxury safari. This park is famous for its thick evergreen forest, large baboon troops, and the unique tree-climbing lions. The shallow, salt lake covers a large area of the park and is home to thousands of wading birds, including flamingos. After a final game drive and picnic lunch in the park, you will say a fond farewell to your Guide and be dropped off at a place of your choosing (Arusha Town, JRO, or Arusha Airport).
